That is too cute. Punkin would never purposefully get that close to an animal. He just stands behind them and says, "Meow. Cat. Meow."
Ha! Monkey tried this with the dogs but I put an end to it b/c I was afraid he'd try it with other, less tolerant, dogs. He does do it when they drink though.
Don't be shocked the first time he tries a nibble. I caught Monkey drinking (lapping) out of the water dish once after he had observed the skill long enough, lol.
