Sibling rivalry

We bought this doll for Quinn awhile ago, just because I thought it was cute. It makes gurgling and drinking sounds when you "feed" it with the attached bottle. He has not really been interested in the doll.

Tonight I was playing around and holding the doll like a baby and feeding it. Quinn grabbed it from me and slapped it and said "bye bye"! I held the baby again, just to see what he would do, and he repeated the grabbing, hitting, and "bye bye".

It's fun to see Quinn exhibit developmentally "normal" behavior. And I guess it's good we have no immediate plans to give him a sibling.

That is exactly what Punkin would do! He might even throw it across the room, though.....

That is pretty cool, actually. And appropriate!

Yeah for Quinn, showing some spunk! Holly loves this Doll BTW, so thank you very much. Luckily she isn;t getting too jealous of it, as we do have plans to start trying for a sibling soon.

That's funny! Hmmm, we've never given Evan a doll. I wonder what his reaction would be. The older two, having a sister so close in age had plenty of dolls to play with!

Poor Baby Alive! That's one way to let you know he rules the roost in the kid realm! That's actually what Ian does to his siblings..only without the 'bye-bye' part. Hee
